Avid readers of The Hungry Caterpillar know that it takes a lot to become a butterfly.

These extraordinary creatures have been through being an egg, a caterpillar, and a chrysalis before they can spread their wings and fly. We'll celebrate the coming of spring by showing you how to make a pair of butterfly wings which you can wear home. Because some butterflies can be male and female at once, youngsters can choose different colours for their wings to really reflect who they feel they are.

Join us to find out the surprising science behind butterflies and walk away with wearable rainbow butterfly wings. Parents are asked to stay and supervise, to help their youngsters get the best out of this session. Refreshments are available in our café before and after your session.
