SOUND WINCHESTER LAUNCH EVENT
The first Sound Winchester 2024 event is a day-long community festival featuring everything from samba to ukuleles, Spanish guitars to ceilidhs and from acapella to poetry.
There will be demos, jams and performances and, most importantly, the opportunity to have a go yourself. Guests can join workshops in all areas of music and voice, including a chance to write a Song for Winchester.
Sessions will comprise performances, workshops and taster sessions of between 20 minutes and one hour. This is a free event open to all.

ABOUT SOUND WINCHESTER
Sound Winchester is a celebration of the diverse and vibrant range of creative musical talent in our city. Collectively it aims to improve wellbeing from the making and showcasing of music and voice activities.
Launching this year, Sound Winchester will provide opportunities and events for everyone to try something new, to learn from others and to collaborate. Equally welcome along are those who prefer to listen to others making music together. Sound Winchester is for everyone.
