Following a visit to the exhibition, this hands-on screen-printing workshop invites participants to explore the work of Yinka Shonibare CBE RA. Drawing on the key themes in Shonibare’s practice, participants will create their own screen-printed artworks on paper, inspired by the prints and sculptures seen in the exhibition.
No previous experience is necessary — Berkshire Printmakers will guide you step by step through the process, including how to use a squeegee, mix water-based opaque inks, and produce a successful screen print.
Please dress for mess — wear an apron and bring an A3 portfolio to take your work home.
