Did you know that the world record for the longest paper aeroplane is 226 feet – that’s three quarters of a football field!

If you understand the science behind flying, you can make a paper aeroplane go a long way. Our holiday workshop for 9-11-year olds shares all the scientific tips and tricks to make a paper aeroplane which goes further. Once you’ve made your super-plane, you can test and refine it with everyone in the group. Take the skills home and practice, and maybe one day you’ll be the next world record holder!

Parents are asked to stay and supervise, to help their young plane pilots get the best out of this session. Refreshments available from the café before and after the session
