Dennis Nothdruft has spent many years immersed in the creative world of interior fashion. In this lecture, he shares his process in curating the Out of the Blue exhibition and reflects on the wide-ranging influence of Designers Guild and its Founder and Creative Director Tricia Guild on the world of fashion and textiles and reflects on some of the key themes of the exhibition.

Dennis Nothdruft is Head of Exhibitions at Fashion and Textile Museum in London. He has curated numerous exhibitions including Liberty in FashionThe World of Anna Sui, 1920s Jazz Age: Fashion and PhotographsTommy Nutter – the Rebel on the Row, and Foale and Tuffin: Made in England amongst others. Recent publications include How to Draw Like a Fashion Designer and How to Draw Vintage Fashion with Thames and Hudson, and Zandra Rhodes – Fifty Years of Fabulous Fashion with Yale University Press.
