Curator James Russell and Hampshire Cultural Trust's Kirsty Rodda are in conversation with Angie Lewin, painter, printmaker and designer, about the influence of Eric Ravilious on her work.

They’ll discuss Ravilious’ skill and ingenuity in applying his distinctive imagery to a wide range of commercial commissions, including Wedgwood, Dunbar Hay and illustrations including Kynoch Press, Murals for Morley College (with Edward Bawden) and Midland Hotel.

They’ll talk about his work as a watercolourist, war artist and also as a printmaker.  Plus, they’ll discuss his understanding of printmaking processes which translated into successful collaborations with industry.

This talk is part of our programming celebrating the exhibition, Extraordinary Everyday. Book your exhibition tickets to see more of Ravilious’ work.
