Creative Explorers: Movement
Looking for a day that combines movement, creativity and imagination this summer?
Creative Explorers is a holiday club-style session at The Arc, Winchester, where children spend the day moving, playing and making, with inspiration taken from artworks in our gallery. Each day combines a high-energy morning of games, movement and drama with a relaxed, creative afternoon in our studio spaces.
This Movement-themed day is all about storytelling, imagination and working together. Children will start the day in the Performance Hall with drama and group activities designed to get them moving and exploring ideas as a team, before heading into the studio for an afternoon of hands-on making inspired by what they have experienced and seen in the gallery.
The session is designed to feel welcoming and flexible, whether children enjoy performing, creating or a bit of both. There is plenty of guidance and support throughout, with space to build confidence and develop ideas in their own way.
Expect a friendly atmosphere, a good balance of active and creative time, and the chance to take part in something a bit different.
Please bring a packed lunch and a drink for children attending the full day.
