Uke’n’Jam with Winnall Rock School for ages 7–11
This activity is part of The Arc’s COWfest 2026 programme, a free and inclusive festival for children and families in Winchester and beyond, celebrating creativity, play and community. The Arc acts as the festival hub, with additional activities taking place at community locations across the city on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 February.
Uke’n’Jam is a relaxed and joyful group jam session led by Peter from Winnall Rock School, inviting children to come together to play, make music and perform as part of COWfest.
No previous experience is needed. The session will begin with the basics, making it welcoming for complete beginners as well as those who already play.
Children who have taken part in Uke’n’Paint earlier in the day are especially encouraged to join, bringing along their newly decorated ukuleles to show off and play, but everyone is welcome to attend.
Children can bring their own Ukulele, however if you don't have your own you can borrow one from Winnall Rock School!
