Referencing how national heritage in many forms set the stage for reflection, change, and the future of fashion, the discussion continues how the zeitgeist got a surprisingly British makeover.
Dr Jo Turney is an Associate Professor of Fashion at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. She is the author of the Culture of Knitting (2009) and the contributing editor of Fashion Crimes (2019) and of the forthcoming In Private (2022) a book about 1970s interior design. She likes crime fiction and her cat.
