Our regular comedy night at The Arc, Barnstormers Comedy presents a line-up of three top acts from the London comedy circuit and beyond: many of them Comedy Store regulars.
As ever, MC Kevin Precious will also be on hand to oversee the proceeds. It's the perfect tonic to end the working week!
Stefano Paolini
Stefano has been performing stand up comedy for over twenty years and has appeared on programmes including Channel 4's Double Take and BBC Radio 4's Dead Ringers. His combination of impressions, characters and beatboxing has seen him perform nationally in major comedy clubs like the Comedy Store, Glee Club and Comedy Carnival and internationally in places such as Myanmar, Hong Kong and Dubai.
Stephanie Laing
Stephanie started performing in April 2007 on the Scottish comedy circuit. She quickly established herself as one of the most promising acts of her generation on the circuit, and in 2015 appeared as a finalist in the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year competition.
Stephanie is best described as goofy and peculiar, and her comedy is partway between the needy oddness of Maria Bamford and the upbeat affability of Josie Long. Her material is a mix of silliness, filth and unusual observations, underpinned by a disarming honesty which makes her seem charmingly vulnerable.
Michael Fabbri
Michael Fabbri is an English stand-up comedian based in Brighton. In 2003 he reached the final of So You Think You're Funny. As well as performing all over the world, he has also performed in several solo shows at festivals.
He has written for Channel 4's television show Stand Up for the Week and was a support act during Micky Flanagan's 'Out Out' tour in 2011.
His BBC Radio 4 comedy series on dyslexia, Dyslexicon, was produced by Dabster productions and was first broadcast in May 2016 and repeated in September 2018.
Over the years, notable acts that have graced the Barnstormers Comedy stage include Angela Barnes, Stephen Bailey, Scott Bennett, Jen Brister, Jo Caulfield, Hal Cruttenden, Greg Davies, Larry Dean, Gary Delaney, Kerry Godliman, Milton Jones, Shaparak Khorsandi, Laura Lexx, Zoe Lyons, Chris McCausland, Sarah Millican, Diane Morgan, Nigel Ng, Geoff Norcott, Andy Parsons, Romesh Ranganathan, Mark Simmons, Paul Sinha and Fin Taylor.
